Zigbee via the Clume panel

A Crestron Home platform driver that brings the Zigbee devices of a Clume panel's own Zigbee network into Crestron Home as child devices. The Clume panel is the Zigbee hub and talks to the driver on the local network.

What it does

  • A Clume panel is the Zigbee coordinator and connects to the driver on port 9534.
  • Publishes the panel's Zigbee devices as children: on/off lights or appliances, dimmable, tunable-white and colour lights, contact, temperature and humidity sensors, lock, shade, occupancy, water leak, smoke, CO and motion.
  • Its own settings page on port 9534, opened from Configure Pro for one hour and protected by a PIN: zones, pairing, room placement, names and settings, Identify and Reconfigure.
  • More than one zone (one hub panel per zone), and Zigbee routers.
  • A network map of the Zigbee mesh, with link signal. It works offline.
  • Occupancy events (Occupied, Vacant, and Vacant after 1 to 30 minutes), and optional temperature and humidity values for Configure Pro conditions.
  • Device cards show last heard, signal, power source and battery. Battery low shows on the tile.
  • A full network backup per zone, downloaded from the page. Last known values are kept across a restart or update.

Devices and protocols

  • Zigbee, through a Clume panel as the coordinator
  • Lab devices: SONOFF SNZB-06P presence sensor, SONOFF ZBM5-2C-80/86 two-gang switch, SNZB-02P temperature and humidity sensor
  • A Clume 4 panel as the hub and a Clume 7 panel as a router
  • Crestron Home on a CP4-R

Requirements

  • A Crestron Home processor; the lab uses a CP4-R. The driver declares SDK 21 or later.
  • A Clume panel with the Zigbee hub firmware. The network map needs hub firmware with link contract 1.3.
  • Zigbee devices paired to the panel's network.
  • A browser on the home network, for the settings page.

Limits to know before you install

  • Works only with Clume panels as the hub, not with other Zigbee coordinators.
  • No full list of supported devices yet.
  • Backup download works; restore from a backup is switched off for now.
  • The settings page is plain HTTP, for the home's own network only.
  • The page cannot create a Crestron room.
  • Whether a shade shows in the Crestron Home app is not yet proven. Several built features still owe a lab check.
  • Temperature and humidity values for Configure Pro take effect only after a driver restart or a new placement.
  • A version change gives the driver a new data folder: export before an update.
