Akuvox door station
Adds an Akuvox E13S or E12S door station to Crestron Home as a native lock. A custom tile next to it carries the camera addresses, the direct-IP intercom target and the relay controls, and Clume panels read their door settings from the driver.
What it does
- Adds the door station as a native Crestron Home lock: unlock, lock, lock state, last lock event, online and ready.
- Unlock is a self-releasing relay pulse, so the strike is never left energised by mistake. Hold Open and Release Hold are separate commands.
- A custom tile next to the lock tile, with four layouts, three relay commands and a confirmation before Hold Open. It renders on the touch screen.
- Camera: publishes the still-image address and two RTSP stream addresses. The picture never passes through Crestron.
- Intercom: publishes the direct-IP SIP target. Audio and video go from the panel to the door directly.
- Clume panels read their door settings and still-image login from the driver, so a panel shows the door picture with no USB setup.
- Optional ring list: with Setup item "Manage this door's ring list" on (it is off by default), the driver writes which panels ring into the door's group call list.
- Pins the door's TLS identity on first use and refuses a changed one.
- One Setup step: door address, JSON API port, user and password, the optional still-image account, the SIP and RTSP ports, and the ring-list switch.
Devices and protocols
- Akuvox E13S: relay commands, camera and RTSP measured on firmware 13.30.10.32
- Akuvox E12S: online state and ring list observed; relay commands not measured yet
- Akuvox JSON API over HTTPS with Digest authentication, port 443 by default
- MJPEG still image, port 8080 by default; RTSP, port 554 by default
- Direct-IP SIP, port 5060 by default
- Tested on a Crestron CP4-R
Requirements
- A Crestron Home processor. Tested on a CP4-R; the driver declares SDK 21 or later.
- An Akuvox E13S or E12S door station on the local network.
- The door's HTTP API turned on (Security, HTTP API). With it off the door answers 403 and the driver shows it offline.
- A JSON API user name and password for the door. Port 80 cannot be used for the API.
- Optional: an RTSP/MJPEG account for the still picture. Use a dedicated one, because any client logged in to the controller can read that password.
- Clume panels, for the door picture and intercom on a panel.
Limits to know before you install
- E12S support is partial: relay commands, camera and RTSP are measured on the E13S only.
- No two-way intercom audio in the Crestron Home Android app 4.11.1. iOS is not checked.
- The door's own sensor input is not shown in Crestron Home.
- No SIP account and no DTMF.
- Nothing checks that an RTSP stream path exists, because the door answers any path.
- If the door rejects the password twice, the driver stops all traffic to it until you change a credential, the address or a port in Setup.
- To trust a door whose TLS identity changed, change the door address in Setup. Entering the same address again does not do it.
- The still-image password can be read by any client logged in to the controller. The JSON API password is never published.
